This art is created by suspending flowers I grew in my garden upside down from a fishing wire on an open scan bed. This technique allows for the beautiful detail of the flower to emerge from the darkness.
My favorite subject in the whole world is flowers. These are many of my sketches, paintings, and vector drawings of flowers.
I started a project where I take the time to enjoy my ride back and forth from work. I pull my Mini Cooper over and roll down the window and shoot a picture with my phone of whatever beautiful view I see.

I started painting with pastels after I attended an artist's retreat on the Maurice River the summer of 2014. It is my favorite medium. I love buying hand made pastels and each little colorful stick is a slice of heaven.
My husband Marcello and I bought our two and a half acre property in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania seventeen years ago. The property is built on a hill and reminded Marcello very much of his village, Fallo, in Italy where he spent his childhood. Marcello and I love being outside and working on our property. I find building the gardens another form of art. Creating space with color of the flowers gives me immense joy. These photographs are from our property.
I majored in illustration at Moore College of Art. It is where my heart lies and my graphic design has an illustrative quality.
